How much does it cost to use your services?
There is no charge for our leasing staff to assist you in finding a home. If you decide to submit an application, there is a $40 fee to cover the costs of a background and credit check.
How much is the application fee?
The fee is $40 per applicant.
When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of every month. Late fees are assessed on the 6th. If your lease specifically states a different due date, then your rent will be due on that day.
Will you pick up my rent each month?
No, we will not send someone to your home to collect rent. There are several ways available for you to pay your rent. We have an online option with no convenience fee, you can mail us a check or money order, or you can deliver payment to one of our offices.
Do I need good credit to rent with Prosperity Property Management?
This is determined by the property owner. In the majority of cases, the minimum credit score we can accept is 600.
What should I do if my roommate wants to move out?
If you are planning to remain in the unit, please contact our office so new paperwork can be drawn up for you. If you have selected a new roommate, they will need to contact our office to submit an application along with the $40 screening fee. Once they are screened and approved, that person will be added to the rental agreement/lease and be ‘legal’ to reside at the property.
Do I need renter’s insurance?
Yes, renter’s insurance coverage is required by your lease. See the video below for additional information.
